AVSim destroyed

Posted on May 15, 2009 by Robin

In an example of pointless, malicious hacking, the flight sim site Avsim.com has been hacked and destroyed. 13 years of user mods and reviews have been wiped. They won’t be back, because they used two servers which backed each other up. Both were wiped.
I can’t even grace this with the words hacked or cracked – this is pointlessly destroying a soft target. No elegance to this whatsoever.
