Slime Controlled Robot

Posted on February 14, 2006June 4, 2009 by Robin

They’ve grown a slime on a chip and forced it to grow in the shape of the bot thus encasing it entirely and finding some way of translating it’s movements to the movements of the robot. This makes it a ‘living’ robot. Currently it’s a bit boring as it moves away from light and moves towards food and it ends around there as far as I can make out, but cool in a disgusting sort of way 🙂
